Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) announces the initiation of negotiations with parliamentarians from across the political spectrum for submitting a censure motion at the beginning of the new parliamentary session, stating that the dismissal of the Citu Government, which it accuses of "dilettantism", represents a "national urgency".
"AUR has decided to open talks with parliamentarians from all political forces, so that the censure motion at the beginning of the autumn parliamentary session has a real chance to pass, and Romanians to get rid of the Citu Government as soon as possible. The dismissal of the Citu Government is a national urgency. From the first day of the Legislature's work, the Citu Government should be informed that Parliament can no longer tolerate the dilettantism of a Cabinet whose Prime Minister aberrantly indebts Romania without being interested in how much a loaf of bread costs, and its Minister of Finance does not know the level of inflation or the value of the minimum wage," AUR representatives specify in a release sent on Friday to AGERPRES.
At the same time, AUR criticizes the Government for the lack of a coherent vision of development, according to Agerpres.ro.
"Romanians are hit by a tsunami of rising prices for food, energy, services, and the national economy is crushed between the lack of a coherent vision of development and the restrictive aberrations of an unconvincing health policy," said Senator Claudiu Tarziu, co-chair of AUR.
