Bucharest Stock Exchange closes higher Wednesday's session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Wednesday's session higher on all indices, with trading of 48.401 million RON (9.535 million euros).

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 0.40%, to 18,754.36 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed by 0.43% up, agerpres reports.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an advance of 0.39%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, rose by 0.80%.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, rose by 0.66%, while the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, recorded an increase of 0.07%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, closed up by 0.79%.

The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 9.03 million RON, followed by Transelectrica shares, with 8.87 million RON, and OMV Petrom, with 2.86 million RON.

The best developments were recorded by Alro shares (+10.56%), Turism Hoteluri (+9.47%) and Turism, Hoteluri, Restaurante Marea Neagra (+6.70%).

On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Carbochim (-4.76%), Prefab (-3.45%) and Bittnet Systems Bucharest (-2.15%).
