The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed lower on all indices in Thursday's session, with a trading value of 122.32 million RON (23.97 million euros).
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, fell by 1.55%, to 16,250.36 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed down by 1.42%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded a decline of 1.46%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, fell by 1.09%.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, depreciated by 1.49%, and the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, closed down by 1.76%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, closed with a decrease of 0.06%.
The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 30.66 million RON, followed by shares of Sphera Franchise Group, with 24.7 million RON, and OMV Petrom, with 15.76 million RON.
The best developments were recorded by UAMT shares (+14.97%), Electroaparataj (+14.10%) and Chimcomplex Borzesti (+12.56%).
On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by Prefab shares (-10.32%), Sphera Franchise Group (-5.97%) and Electromagnetica (-5%).
