Bucharest University has arranged accommodation for 250 Ukrainian students and professors and has opened two aid collection centres for Ukrainian refugees.

"Bucharest University is mobilising itself to support Ukrainian and international students and professors from the neighbouring country, which has been severely affected by the war. The entire Bucharest University administrative staff of has got organised in recent days, managing to arrange accommodation for 250 students and professors from Ukraine. The first people have already begun to arrive. We will stay close to those in need and respond with the same desire to help," reads a BU post on its Facebook page, Agerpres.ro informs.

The aid - non-perishable, personal care and food products, water, soft drinks - can be brought to the Social Service inside the Grozavesti campus and the Mihail Kogalniceanu cafeteria.
