The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) stocks closed lower on Wednesday, on trades of RON 131.06 million (EUR 25.9 million).
The most traded stocks were Hidroelectrica, with RON 65.03 million in trades, followed by Banca Transilvania, which generated trades worth RON 20.93 million, and Romgaz, with trades of RON 7.53 million, agerpres reports.
The main BET index reflecting the developments in the 20 most liquid stocks declined 0.53% to 18,509.56 points, and the BET-Plus index reflecting the developments in the 43 most liquid BVB stocks went down 0.51%.
The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks fell by 0.48%, and the BET-BK index, the Bucharest exchange trading benchmark index, was down 0.18%.
The BET-FI index of financial intermediation stocks decreased by 0.27%, while BET-NG, the index of 10 energy and utilities stocks, decreased by 0.45%.
The BET AeRO index of 20 AeRO leading companies was down 0.56%.
According to BVB, the top three risers were Aeta (+6.77%), One United Properties (+3.63%) and Artego (+3.31%).
On the other hand, the top three fallers were Condmag (-6.25%), Armatura (-5.11%) and Societatea de Constructii Napoca (-3.25%).
