On Tuesday, the Chamber of Deputies vacated a position of secretary after the resignation of incumbent Olguta Vasilescu, by a vote of 167 to one abstention, according to Agerpres.
Vasilescu resigned her Social Democratic Party (PSD) MP seat after being elected mayor of Craiova.
The Chamber of Deputies is to vote on a new secretary to the Standing Bureau, PSD's pick Daniel Suciu.
