Dacian Ciolos, who just wrapped up his term at the head of a technocratic government, on Thursday met at the Palace of Parliament with lawmakers of the group of the Save Romania Union (USR).
Talks are taking place behind closed doors and according to sources they allegedly envisage the establishment of an NGO that is to steer clear of becoming a political party, so as "to not divide the Romanian right-wing even more.''
The NGO's mission would be to provide documents and experts to help ''the work of the opposition" and who will carry out a set of projects together with former ministers.
