President Klaus Iohannis reminded on Thursday that chemical weapons are banned under international law and expressed hope that the signatories to the international treaties providing for this interdiction will respect their commitment.
"Chemical and biological weapons are banned under international treaties and we cannot simply set out from the premise that someone is using them. We all hope that it stays like this and that all signatories to international treaties respect what has been decided," the head of the Romanian state said before attending the extraordinary NATO summit in Brussels, informs Agerpres.
