Prosecutor General Augustin Lazar had a professional meeting with chiefs of the Romanian Police, in order to identify measures and solutions for boosting the activity of criminal prosecution in the fight against crime.
According to a release of the General Prosecutor's Office, on Wednesday, Prosecutor General Augustin Lazar attended the professional meeting called "The role of the Romanian Police in inter- and intra-institutional collaboration on fighting crime," that was attended by the chief of the Romanian Police, Police Principal Quaestor Bogdan Despescu, heads of the central structures of the General Inspectorate of Romanian Police (IGPR), chiefs of county police inspectorates and heads of the brigades fighting organized crime.
"During the meeting, aspects regarding the institutional collaboration between the Romanian Police and prosecutor's office units were discussed, as well as the unitary approach of the issue in the sphere of competence.
