Leader of the People's Party Movement (PMP) deputies' group Eugen Tomac showed on Tuesday, after the two Chambers' reunited sitting that his party's deputies upheld in plenary sitting over 800 amendments to the state budget law, all being rejected by the majority's representatives (Social Democratic Party - PSD, major at rule and the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats, ALDE - minor at rule), although they were inspired from the governing programme.
"Practically, the current government and majority have maimed their own objectives through the vote they cast today. It is outrageous. We will do our duty as opposition party. We will send to all the town hall in this country the recordings with the votes they cast in plenary sitting today, those from PSD and ALDE," Tomac stated.
Parliament's joint plenary adopted on Tuesday, paragraph by paragraph, the 2018 budgets for the High Court of Cassation and Justice, the Legislative Court, the Court of Accounts, the Ombudsman, the National Council for the Study of the Archives of Security, the National Audio-Visual Council (CNA), the Foreign Affairs Ministry and the Ministry of Regional Development, Public Administration and European Funds (MDRAPFE).
The Opposition's parliamentarians lodged approximately 1,700 amendments to the MDRAPFE budget draft, all being rejected.
