President Klaus Iohannis on Monday stated that the Social Democratic Party (PSD) - the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats (ALDE) approach in respect to the laws regarding the Justice system is "counterproductive" and appreciated the fact that "Romanians gave their opinion."
"It is quite clear why the Romanians are protesting, because the approach related to these modifications of the laws on Justice lacks transparency first of all, while there also are some changes that they want to make against the system and I believe that this approach of the Social Democratic Party - Alliance of the Liberals and Democrats alliance, of late, of always going against everyone is a totally counterproductive one, and Romanians did very good to give their opinion," said Iohannis, when asked about the protests from late last week.
President Klaus Iohannis on Monday participated at the Athenaeum, in the gala of the Romanian Association of Municipalities.
