The Social Democrats accuse President Klaus Iohannis of blocking all new local investments because he has not promulgated the State Budget Law for 2019.
In a post on its Facebook page, PSD argues that for this reason, mayors or presidents of county councils cannot start new investments.

"Iohannis has blocked all new investments at the local level. None of the mayors or presidents of county councils can start new investments because of the president who challenged the budget at the Constitutional Court.Thus, because of his obsession with attacking and blocking PSD, Iohannis throws a spanner in the works of the mayors from the party that supports him in the presidential election, but those who suffer in the end are citizens waiting for new investments in roads, schools and hospitals to be carried out," the Social Democrats affirm.
According to PSD, if President Klaus Iohannis' complaint to the Constitutional Court is to be rejected, he should apologize to all the children and parents who will not have received the increased allowances as of March 1 but also to "all the citizens waiting for new investments to be made in their localities and counties."
