The volume of retail trade turnover (except for motor vehicles and motorcycles) increased in the first seven months of this year by 2.7% in unadjusted terms, and by 2.6% as workday and seasonally adjusted series, compared to the same period in 2022, reports the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
Turnover in retail trade (except for motor vehicles and motorcycles) increased, in unadjusted terms, due to increases in sales of non-food products (+4.4%) and sales of food, beverages and tobacco (+3.6%). Retail trade of motor fuels in specialised stores decreased by 2.3%, agerpres reports.
