Prosecutors of the Public Prosecutor's Office next to the District Court 1 are conducting, on Tuesday, searches at the SNSPA headquarters, in the file in which several female students accuse Professor Alfred Bulai of sexual harassment, judicial sources stated for AGERPRES.
The police and the Prosecutor's Office have opened a criminal case in rem, regarding the use of the position for sexual purposes in the case of Professor Alfred Bulai.
According to a journalistic investigation carried out by the Snoop website, Alfred Bulai, a professor at SNSPA, allegedly sexually harassed several female students.
Three searches were carried out by the police in the capital on Tuesday, in a criminal case involving professor Alfred Bulai, a former teacher at SNSPA, in connection with committing the crimes of abuse of office for sexual purposes and sexual assault.
"Considering the ex officio notification prepared at the level of the 2nd Police Department, in which prosecutors from the Prosecutor's Office next to the District 1 Court carry out investigations, under the aspect of committing the crimes of abuse of office for sexual purposes and sexual assault, facts that would have been committed by a 61-year-old man, teaching staff of a university in the Capital, this morning three search warrants are being executed, at three addresses in the Municipality of Bucharest," informs a press release from the DGPMB sent to AGERPRES.
According to some judicial sources, the file was opened in rem, and at this moment evidence is being administered to establish the factual situation.
The investigations are continued by the Public Prosecutor's Office next to the District 1 Court, under the aspect of committing the crimes of abuse of office for sexual purposes and sexual assault.
The action benefits from the support of the Special Actions Service within the Capital Police.
