Stock exchange closes lower on Tuesday
The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Tuesday's trading session down, with a trading value of 87.698 million lei (17.72 million euros), told Agerpres.
The main BET index depreciated 1.05% to 13,214.22 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 37 most liquid shares on the stock exchange, recorded a similar decline.
Meanwhile, the BET-XT blue-chip broad index of the 25 most liquid stocks fell 0.94% and the SIF index, BET-FI, fell 0.38%.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund returns, ended the session down 0.96% and the BET-NG, which measures the performance of the ten energy and utilities companies, closed down 0.60%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies in the AeRO market, closed the session down, recording a depreciation of 0.60%.
On the Regulated Market, the most traded shares were those of Fondul Proprietatea, with 41.99 million lei, followed by those of Banca Transilvania - trades worth 12.795 million lei, and Hidroelectrica shares - 8.306 million lei.
The best performances were recorded by Altur shares, which appreciated 3.6%, followed by Carbochim shares (+3.4%) and Alumil Rom Industry shares (+1.88%).
On the other hand, the most significant falls were recorded by Condmag (-10%), MedLife (-4.96%) and Farmaceutica Remedia (-4,29%).
