Retail turnover (except for trade in motor vehicles and motorcycles), gross series, increased by 5.6% in the first 11 months of 2018 against the same period of the previous year, due to the increase in the sales of non-food stuffs (+6,4%), food, beverages and tobacco (+6,3%) and the retail sale of automotive fuel in specialized stores (+3,3%).
The retail turnover (except for motor vehicles and motorcycles), gross series, in November 2018 against November 2017, saw a 7.2% increase due to increases in sales of non-food products (+9.6%), retail sale of automotive fuel in specialized stores (+6.7%) and sales of food, beverages and tobacco (+4.6%).
As adjusted series, trade had a 6% gain due to the increase in sales of non-food stuffs (+7.7%), the retail sale of automotive fuel in specialized stores (+ 5.6%) and sales of food, beverages and tobacco (+ 4.8%).
Retail turnover (except for motor vehicles and motorcycles), gross series, in November 2018, compared with the previous month, increased overall by 2.5% due to increases in sales of non-food stuffs (+ 9.7%) and sales of food, beverages and tobacco (+ 0.9%). Retail trade of automotive fuel in specialized stores fell by 7.2%.
The retail turnover (except for motor vehicles and motorcycles), series adjusted depending on the number of business days and seasonality, in November 2018 compared with the previous month, increased by 1.5%, due to increases in non-food sales (+3.5%), retail sale of automotive fuel in specialized stores (+0.8%) and sales of food, beverages and tobacco (+0.3% ).
