The National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration (CNAIR) Board member decided in the Tuesday meeting to revoke from office CNAIR director general Catalin Homor, on the grounds of finding deficiencies in managing the company's recent activities, the Transport Ministry (MT) informs on Wednesday.
According to the source, Transport Minister Razvan Cuc ordered the Control Body to conduct a checkup at the CNAIR on the existence of the necessary means and materials for snow clearing (special equipment and their functioning state, anti-slippage material and fuel stock), the situation of the contracts with private companies for snow-clearing and the grounds of the order on using sand for clearing the snow.
Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu asked on Saturday the Transport Minister to send the Control Body to the CNAIR and take all legal measures to dismiss the company director general Catalin Homor.
At the same time, the Transport Minister announced on Saturday that he would send the Control Body to the CNAIR to see how the anti-slippage material quantity was evaluated.
