The Romanian cyclist Cristian Raileanu, from the Chinese team Li Ning Star, ranked ninth on Sunday in the ranking of the 12th edition of the Taihu Lake Tour (China), which ended with the victory of the Dutchman Jelte Krijnsen (Parkhotel Valkenburg), informs Agerpres.
Krijnsen won the fifth and final stage in Nanjing on a 114.09 km course in a sprint with a time of 2 h 33 min 17 sec, followed by Polish Marcin Budzinski (Mazowsze Serce Polski) and Estonian Karl Patrick Lauk (Huansheng). Cristian Raileanu came in sixth in the same time as the winner.
In the final standings, Krijnsen took first place, followed eight seconds behind Budzinski and ten seconds behind Colombian Wilmar Paredes (Medellin-EPM). Raileanu was ninth, 15 seconds behind the winner.
