Interim Chairperson of the National Liberal Party (PNL) Raluca Turcan believes that Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu doesn't take responsibility over the uniform public pay law because he knows he would be "cast out" from the head of the Government, in the context in which the Liberals would file a censure motion.
"Mr Grindeanu runs from taking responsibility like he would from incense, because he knows he would be kicked out as head of the Government in a split second. The PNL would file a censure motion," Raluca Turcan wrote on Thursday on her Facebook page.
She believes that PM Grindeanu is "weak and manipulated by all those with real powers and interests in the Social Democratic Party (PSD)."
"Romania deserves more than just a puppet in front of the Government, who executes on command hits against the rule of law. Romanians deserves more than a sufficient and superficial PM who tries to stretch the cost cover and money is left uncovered either for investments, or for co-funding the European funded projects. For Mr Grindeanu the political clock is ticking. Soon, all those who want to save themselves from the economic failure will leave him," Turcan adds.
The PNL leader stated that in Parliament the parliamentary majority will "bury" the draft law on uniform public pay.
