The minister of Internal Affairs, Catalin Predoiu, announced on Monday evening that, following the report of the Control Body on the road tragedy of 2 Mai seaside resort it was decided to initiate a preliminary investigation for negligence towards the chief inspector of the Constanta County Police (IPJ).
"The report proposes the following measures: triggering the preliminary investigation for negligence manifested in the fulfillment of service duties or orders received from hierarchical heads or from authorities empowered by law towards the chief inspector of Constanta County Police," Predoiu said on the occasion of presenting the conclusions of the Minister's Control Body, agerpres reports.
The Interior minister also said that, on Monday, the head of IPJ Constanta, Constantin Adrian Gluga, submitted to him the report on the termination of office.
"In conclusion, I will notify the disciplinary committees with the report and I will send it to the Prosecutor's Office," Predoiu said.
