The Chairman of the Romanian Football Federation, Razvan Burleanu, was appointed to head UEFA-European Union working group, according to a release sent to agerpres.
After the activity carried out within the working group for the Sports Diplomacy of the European Commission, the FRF President was proposed for the new position in the context of the UEFA Brussels office opening, on the 1st of March.
The first project, in progress from February 28 through March 2, in Tbilisi (Georgia), will be the UEFA Summit, dedicated to increasing participation in the football phenomenon in Eastern Europe, organized with the support of the European Council. The FRF delegation is led by Razvan Burleanu and accompanied by representatives of the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Youth and Sports, the aforementioned source adds.
