TAROM national air operator will get four new airplanes by the end of 2017 and will resume its flights to China and the U. S., on Wednesday said the Transport Minister, Razvan Cuc at the TVR1 public television broadcaster.
"By end-June, we'll get two new airplanes that will be included in the TAROM fleet, to replace the two Airbus that have been withdrawn, and by the end of the year will buy two more airships in operational leasing, to operate the long courier," specified Cuc.
The Transport Ministry's head added that in 2017 the flights to China and the U. S. will be resumed.
Right now, TAROM needs a rethinking of the business concept, and the current management of the national company is working on it as we speak, the minister added.
